Approximately 15% of all couples trying to become pregnant will have difficulty conceiving. In about 70% of these infertile couples, a cause can be identified. While 30% will have unexplained infertility, overall, approximately 60% of couples will conceive using basic treatment approaches.
The likelihood of achieving a pregnancy depends upon the specific cause of infertility. Certain diagnoses respond to treatment better than others. Dr. Anita Singh is a Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist. She works with each patient to develops an individualized treatment plan as infertility factors will vary from one couple to the next. It is her desire to help you add to or start a family!
Dr. Singh completed her residency in OB/GYN and fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at University of CA, Irvine. Following her fellowship Dr. Singh joined the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. There she led the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility for 8 years. Under Dr. Singh’s direction the division achieved fertility success rates that were among the highest in the nation. Dr. Singh also has been voted "top doctor" in infertility by Phoenix Magazine. She also has been active in research and has various publications in the specialty.
